This festival is all about music, dance, and the beauty of White Rann. This amazing carnival offers a feeling of ‘Heaven On Earth’ to its visitors. Great Rann of Kutch
Great Rann of Kutch is one of the largest salt deserts. It ethereal white sand looks beautiful at dusk and dawn. Its beauty gets enhanced under the light of the full moon and many tourists come to see it glow. If you want to see the full moon to get an unmatched experience at Rann Utsav, mark the dates 2nd January, 31st January, and 2nd March of 2018 and be there. Photography enthusiasts have always loved this place.
Kalo Dungar
Kalo Dungar is also known as the Black Hill. Located at the height of 462m the highest point in Kutch, this place attracts tourists because it offers a panoramic view of the Great Rann of Kutch. Visitors usually visit Kalo Dungar to see the 400-year-old Dattatreya temple too. And at 10 bucks INR you get a pair of binoculars to see the India-Pakistan border post.
Bhuj
Bhuj is one of the best places for shopping lovers. From unique handicrafts at dirt cheap prices this place offers a lot. In 2001, Bhuj was destroyed because of an earthquake but some buildings survived that tragedy, building like Aina Mahl and Prag Mahal are now tourists visiting points. Other attentive places in Bhuj are Tapkeshwari Temple, Hamirsar Lake, Sharadbaug Palace etc.
Vijay Vilas Palace
Vijay Vilas Palace is the other best places to visit, surrounded by the lush greenery it is magnificent. It was constructed with red sandstone in Rajput style. You will get a superb view of the surrounding area from its balcony. This place has also been used for many Bollywood movie shootings like ‘Lagaan’ and ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’.
Mandvi Beach
Many tourists visit Mandvi Beach to enjoy the beautiful blue water and the speciality of this beach is that tourists can enjoy the camel ride without hurting their pocket. Another attention-grabbing point of this place is its windmills used for generating electricity.
