Government announces 18 special trains for Holi

For the convenience of passengers and to control huge crowds, Railway has announced 18 pairs of Holi special trains. The trains will run between March 21 and 31, 2021, on a weekly, bi-weekly and tri-weekly basis. In anticipation of a huge crowd in trains during Holi, Northern Railway will run 18 pairs of additional trains between March 21 and March 31. 18 pairs of puja special trains have been extended: said Ashutosh Gangal, general manager, Northern Railway

The trains will help in managing the crowd. 

Railways will run 18 pairs of Holi special trains between March 21 and 31 to efficiently manage the anticipated crowd. Some of these special trains are as follows:

  • 02336 Lokmanya Tilak T-Bhagalpur Special Train (Daily)
  • 03402 Danapur-Bhagalpur Special Train (Daily)
  • 03419 Bhagalpur-Muzaffarpur Special Train (Daily)
  • 03420 Muzaffarpur-Bhagalpur Special Train (Daily)
  • 03507 Asansol-Gorakhpur Special Train (Friday)
  • 03508 Gorakhpur-Asansol Special Train (Saturday)
  • 03509 Asansol-Gonda Special Train (Monday)
  • 03510 Gonda-Asansol Special Train (Wednesday)
  • 03511 Tatanagar-Asansol Special Train (Sunday, Tuesday and Friday)
  • 03512 Asansol-Tatanagar Special Train (Sunday, Tuesday and Friday)
  • 03512 Asansol-Tatanagar Special Train (Sunday, Tuesday and Friday)

All the passengers have to follow the necessary COVID-19 protocols while traveling on these trains. Ensure to wear masks, maintain distance and use sanitizer. Meanwhile, India has reported 11.6 million cases and 160,000 deaths so far from the virus. Coronavirus is again spreading, so stay safe and healthy.
