Las Vegas lies in a pale brown desert landscape surrounded by barren hills and has a truly unrivaled nightlife. Peak season:
Actually rather than asking when to visit Las Vegas, you should ask when not to go. The city has such a great attraction and charisma that it has become so popular that an “off season” is nonexistent.
But on a serious note there are times to avoid Las Vegas, however, such as during New Year’s, most three-day public holidays, July 4th, and school vacations. Valentine’s Day is also out unless you are planning to get married—fast. Throughout the year, the city is relatively crowded and the weather remains dry and sunny so there is no particular peak season.
Sights of Attraction:
Colorado River: It is a spectacular sight to see during a trip to Vegas, meandering with red rocks and canyons framing it on both sides, leading up to the Hoover Dam. The Colorado River is one of the major water sources for California and Nevada, and not surprisingly it’s a major recreational destination: activities on the river include hiking, biking, rafting and boating.
One of the ways that travelers most often come to see the Colorado River is by visiting the Black Canyon, so-called because of the black volcanic rocks found in the area.
Eiffel Tower Experience: This monumental tourist draw connected to the Paris Hotel and Casino, offers views of the valley and a chance to dine on the finest French cuisine Las Vegas has to offer. Enjoy a ride to the top of the Eiffel Tower in a glass elevator and get an impressive view. Madame Tussauds Wax Museum: It isn’t everyday that you get to take a photo with a celebrity, or what looks like one. At Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, you’ll find wax figures of everyone from George Clooney to Cameron Diaz, with over 100 wax figures on exhibition at any given time. Each of the wax figures takes several hundred hours to make, and the artistry behind each is impressive.

Summer attire:
Wear shorts during the summer especially if you are planning being outside. If you plan to walk the Las Vegas Strip or visit other casinos, wear a very comfortable pair of shoes. The casinos look close together but once you start walking you will soon realize how far apart they are.
Winter attire:
Las Vegas can get cold during the winter, especially at night, If you find a sunny spot during the daytime and there is no wind, it will feel great. Wear jeans or slacks all day and carry a jacket, especially at night. Vegas during wintertime can fluctuate between 30 and 65 degrees. Without a doubt Vegas in January is cold at night.
