Portugal with its stunning places to visit such as landscapes, beaches, islands, wines and cuisines never fails to amaze visitors and now when life is back to normal, the country is all set to welcome Indians while easing the travel restrictions. Claudia Matias, Director – India, Visit Portugal has also said that India has always been a strong source market for Portugal as previously, it saw a significant increase in travellers from India only. So, if Portugal was on the checklist of your travel destination, here are some norms that people still need to follow while flying to Portugal.
Travellers arriving in Portugal are not required to get quarantine; however, a few documents are mandatory to present upon arrival.
- Visitors have to carry their negative RT-PCR Test or NAAT Test at least 72 hours before boarding.
- A negative Laboratorial Rapid Antigen Test before 24 hours of boarding as per the European Commission List can also work.
- Children under 12 years of age are not required to present their test reports or certificate.
These are some mandatory restrictions that a traveller has to follow while visiting Portugal.
