Mount Abu is the picturesque and the only hill station in the state of Rajasthan. It is located near the Sirohi district and on top of the beautiful Aravalli Range. It is set at an elevation of about 1220 meters above sea level. The hill station is situated on the Gujarat- Rajasthan border.
Mount Abu is approximately a 7 hour drive from Ahmedabad. Other transport options are also available from Baroda, Udaipur, Jaipur and other Rajasthan and Gujarat cities. The nearest railways station is Abu Road station, which is 20 kms away from the hill station.

Another mesmerizing spot to visit is the Mount Abu Wildlife Sanctuary. In 1980, the forest between the Aravalli mountain range was professed as a wildlife sanctuary.
