As the temperature of all the cities were going down which eventually resulted in fresh rain and snowfall in different regions like Kullu-Manali, Chamba, Kinnaur, Pangi-Bharmaur, and Lahaul-Spi. Along with them Shimla also experienced beautiful views and all the hotels, resorts and cottages were full.
As per the reports, the minimum temperature in Kalpa was -2 degree Celsius, while it was -1.1 degree in Dalhousie and -0.8 degrees Celsius in Kufri from 5.30 pm Friday to 8.30 am Saturday. From a long time people of Shimla was waiting for this scenario and finally, the sudden change of weather rejoiced them and they welcomed their first New Year snow.
